ABOUT THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

At the SAFETY Program, we are dedicated to the health and safety of our clients and clinicians. As a result of the Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Emergency Declaration, the staff of the SAFETY Program is working remotely providing telehealth services. This interactive telecommunication technology includes audio and video.

If you need to reach someone at the SAFETY program, you can still leave a voice message on their office phone; a clinician will be return your call as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing a clinical emergency, please contact Re:Solve Crisis Services at 1-888-796-8226.

Juvenile Firesetting Screening Form

We have developed a comprehensive screening tool designed to be used by fire personnel or any personnel (CYF caseworkers, police officers, probation officers, school resource officers, patrol officers, etc.) in Allegheny County charged with interviewing families after a fire. Please use this tool to guide your notes as you interview families. It includes instructions on how local providers can identify appropriate services for a given child/youth.

This screening tool was adapted from the Oregon Screening Tool, the Pennsylvania Juvenile Firesetter Assessment Tool, and the SAFETY Program Assessment.
